Anthony Navarro – Modus Flow founder, Owner, Producer and Audio Wizard
Born and raised on the Florida Gulf Coast, Anthony found his passion for music at a very early age. He spent his childhood attending piano lessons and concert recitals, shortly after jumped into a variety of instruments: the recorder, drums, guitar, and DJ-ing.
His passion for the arts grew deeper when he was introduced to all the tools and gadgets in the recording studio. Anthony studied his craft at Full Sail University and graduated with his associates degree in audio engineering and recording arts in 2006.
After Full Sail, he took a leap of faith and accepted a gig in Chicago to work at a private recording studio for major label artist R. Kelly. There, he learned from the best engineers and producers in the industry. He went on tour, worked on sets and in the studio with artists like Rick Ross, Ludacris, Kid Rock, Pussy Cat Dolls, Whitney Houston and more.
In 2010, he felt the calling to start his own business and moved to Atlanta, where he co-founded a recording studio called Back Pack Music Group. In ATL, he expanded his knowledge in the music industry by diving into the trap and rap scene. Honing his craft in mixing and mastering to higher levels while helping artists like Taylor Swift, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Foo Fighters sculpt their signature sounds.
After years of working independently – he came back home to Pensacola, FL and established Modus Flow in 2017 to make his mark in the music industry.
When he’s not in the studio, Anthony loves to travel and explore new cities, eat fine cuisine, read books on philosophy, skate, surf, and snowboard.
Anthony is a maven of the recording arts with a keen instinct for getting the job done professionally AND making the customer happy, no matter what it takes. He loves helping artists bring their vision to life and adds deep passion to every project he touches.
Dyandra Mendoza – Studio Production/Booking Manager, Singer, Songwriter and Artist
Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Orlando, FL – Dyandra basically came out the womb with headphones on. She grew up listening to any cassette tape/cd she could get her hands on, participating in school plays and singing in church choirs. At age 12 she dove into private guitar, piano and voice lessons and knew her future was in music.
Although she didn’t study music professionally, Dyandra graduated from the University of West Florida with her Bachelors in Public Relations in 2016.
For 3 years after college, she lived and worked at different national parks and resorts all over the country including the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas and Colorado. Little did she know that during her travels, she was gathering inspiration that would one day help her write music.
In late 2019, she decided it was time to settle down and moved back to Pensacola. With no real plan in mind… she knew she had to get back into music. That’s when fate intervened and she crossed paths with Anthony at Modus Flow.
With her knowledge in advertising, web design and writing, she was able to bring a unique perspective to the Modus Flow Team that elevated the business. Her and Anthony became a power force team creating waves in the Pensacola music scene.
Since then, Dyandra has released 2 singles, established her brand The Violent Orchid, learned her way around a recording studio, and with the guidance of Anthony, dove into sound engineering.
When she’s not helping Anthony in the studio, she loves to write, paint, practice yoga, study astrology and spend time lost in nature. Dyandra is also bilingual – fluent in both English and Spanish, and is currently writing a 7 track EP.
Anthony Williams – Producer, Audio and Recording Engineer. Specializing in Gospel, Hip-Hop and R&B.
Yeah.. that’s right, we got TWO producers named Anthony at Modus. Anthony Williams, aka Ant, was born and raised here in Pensacola, FL and took the first steps of his musical journey at the young age of 8.
He started off by playing the saxophone, and then quickly transitioned into playing piano and the organ. By age 12, he became the primary organist for Pentecostal Temple Ministries. Needless to say…. he’s a percussion and woodwind prodigy.
Before he even got his drivers license, Ant had the opportunity to write and compose songs for church, as well as play behind Gospel greats like Marvin Sapp, Donnie McClurkin, Duranice Pace, and James Moore, just to name a few.
As his passion for music continued to develop, his ears and curiosity began to sharpen. Feeling the need to dive deeper, Ant invested in higher education and began studying music production at Full Sail University and earned his degree in audio engineering.
With his knowledge now enhanced in production, audio engineering, and instrumentals, Ant merged his worlds of Gospel, Hip-Hip and R&B into one.
Not long after coming back to his hometown, a Facebook marketplace purchase caused him to cross paths with Modus’s OG Anthony (Navarro), and the two became homies instantly. There was no hesitation on Ant’s behalf when Anthony N. (Who Ant likes to call “golden ear genius”) asked him to join the Modus Flow family in 2015.
Over the years, the two Anthonys’ have composed and produced countless projects together for local and remote artists. The rest is history in the making.
